Freifrau Couch
For the cooperation PERRET SCHAAD x Freifrau, I took over the project management and design.
The furniture manufacturer reached out to us for a reinterpretation of their popular "Amelie" bench. Freifrau exists since 2012 and stands for timeless seating furniture with the love for detail and the need for sustainability. The production relies on traditional craftsmanship - all products are handcrafted in Germany. With Perret Schaad, the manufacturer entered into a collaboration with a fashion label for the first time. The common claim of developing their own aesthetics, femininity and yet experimental approaches that outlast trends was the basis for the cooperation. The bench was presented just in time for Berlin Fashion Week and the Cologne Furniture Fair. A delicate piece of furniture in dusky pink. The cover comes from Kvadrat and, following Perret Schaad's style, was draped, quilted and refers to many of the designs in the collection.
